Business to Bruce and the Women’s House Serving Bruce & Grey arepleased to invite you to our 2019 IWD event: Women Unite: Collective Impact for Global Change.
Join us as we explore how female entrepreneurs, our businesses, and the private sector can work together to create meaningful progress on social issues.
Keynote speaker Andi Sharma is an internationally recognized social researcher and human rights advocate based in Manitoba. Andi has received many awards for her volunteer and community work, truly demonstrating what one person can do to influence change in our communities and the world. Andi is also candid about her past struggles with mental health and addiction (see Andi’s Bell Let’s Talk campaign), and hopes her own story helps others fighting similar battles.
All event proceeds will be donated to Women’s House. The Women’s House actively works towards “an atmosphere in society in which all are respected, safe and valued as individuals” and we are proud to support their efforts through this partnership.
Join us as we celebrate women – and all that women can do when we work together.
Tickets are just $45 (including HST). A cash bar will be available, and appetizers and dessert will be provided. Purchase your tickets online here.
